Crow’s Hall Wedding stays – An invitation to take your time…

Make our moated place your home. Your wedding dream. Your day. (Your week almost actually.)

Choose to make Crow’s Hall and its magnificent Suffolk Tudor barn the place for your wedding celebrations and the venue is exclusively yours, not only for your special day and a little time around it – but for up to a week so that you and your suppliers can get everything set up.

A wedding at Crow’s Hall Suffolk makes a very special statement in an exceptionally personal way – just think of it as borrowing a close friend’s stately home.

Each bespoke invitation to hold wedding celebrations at Crow’s Hall includes more than just the opportunity for you and your chosen suppliers to have access to the site, but allows for you both and your close friends and family assisting in those all-important preparations, to stay in historic moated manor of Crow’s Hall itself.

Why a wedding week?

Well, undeniably, there’s sure to be much to (ad)dress. What about the gatehouse courtyard, just inside the moat, for a celebratory glass of something bubbly with the guests, after they’ve watched you arrive up the long, oak-lined driveway? Perhaps the garden amphitheatre with its rolling countryside backdrop is to play host to a blessing or a few shared words?

Maybe you have great glamping plans for the Crow’s Hall paddocks as you’ve invited extended family and friends to stay on site?

Then there’s the magnificent Tudor long barn – all 72 metres of it – such a beautifully genuine, time-honoured space, reaching high to the rafters. It’s the ultimate blank canvas for the decor design and lighting creations of your dreams.

At Crow’s Hall our flexible approach to weddings is as huge as our barn – and that’s purported to be the longest Tudor barn in Suffolk! Whether you are looking to welcome 140 or 400 guests to a single evening reception or have smaller groups of friends to celebrate with you over a wedding weekend, whether you want marquees and tipis in addition the historic buildings on site or practically create a wedding film-set, you’ll want to wow your guests with your own style and that, no matter if you choose a hands-on or hands-off approach, requires extensive preparations.

“The opportunity to stay in your ancient and lovely home for the week was an added wonderful bonus – it allowed us to decorate and prepare the barn to the exacting standards we were set and also for the families to bond further while doing so.” Father of the Bride, Indian Wedding 2018

So what’s it like to stay in 16th century Crow’s Hall Suffolk? Surely it’s one thing to treat yourself to the bridal suite for the wedding, but an extended family stay when there is so much to be done… isn’t that a bit of a departure from the norm?

Ah, but Crow’s Hall is first and foremost a much-loved home and owner, Caroline, who has loved it backed to life over recent years displays gentle, genuine kindness to all who cross the bridge onto the treasured island.

Don’t take our word for it – here are just a few recent comments from our brides and grooms:

“ We all felt so relaxed and at home.”
“Your hospitality was second to none.”
